The Woman
The old woman sits in her chair made of wood,
Dust at her feet, memories of what was once good,
The storm approaches whipping winds, violent lights,
It sneaks up on the valley brilliantly and silent as the night,
She sighs and lovely is she,
Thinking of the day her soul was lost at sea.

The sailboat,
with its wounded mast’s and its leaky floors,
Determined to win...
The meeting of an old friend
If we were to go to dinner now…..I would most likely let my hair hang like blankets of soft black velvet on either side of my face, you would be most inclined to avoid eye contact and blush slightly. I would smile at your awkwardness and it would be perfect.
